Mix in a container with lid, no cooking is required
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon dried dill
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 medium cucumber sliced in 1/8" thick slices
1 shallot sliced thin lengthwise
Soak for 10 minutes for up to 2 weeks
You may adjust these ingredients to your personal tastes or needed size. Just remember 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water.
I hate searching for the actual recipes on other sites so when I post them from now on they will be like this so you don't have to look for 10 minutes through the history of a pickle just to find ingredients.
